Release Date for Alien: Covenant 2 Still Unknown
The sequel to the 2017 sci-fi film "Alien: Covenant" is still in the works, but it has been delayed. Director Ridley Scott confirmed the delay in an interview with Variety, saying that the film will now shoot in the summer of 2018.
Scott also said that the film's script is still being developed, and that he is not yet sure when it will be released. "It's still in the writing process," Scott said. "I don't know when it will come out. It's not going to be next year, that's for sure."
The first "Alien" film was released in 1979 and became a critical and commercial success. It spawned several sequels, prequels, and spin-offs, including "Alien: Covenant" which was released in 2017.
The sequel to "Alien: Covenant" is expected to continue the story of the crew of the spaceship Covenant, who encounter a deadly alien species on a distant planet.
